TCED Final Project Proposal

Topic: The use of social networking and interactive multimedia in education.

Goal: Compare and contrast teacher websites with social networking and interactive multimedia sites. Compare how they reach students and how they can be used to enhance learning and communication between students and teachers.

Deliverables: Create and maintain a social networking site for use in the classroom. (Use of Flash to create educational games and tools). Also, create and maintain a teacher website for use in the classroom. (Use my school’s teacher website tools). See how students access information as well as communicate to the teacher and how the teacher communicates with students on each of these two mediums.
